Joshua Hale is a founder and operations manager of the Open Mic Perform Pro Production and Artistic Design agency.
Joshua’s vision is to create management opportunities for young men and women who desire to build a career in the entertainment industry through the administration of professional media services. Joshua values a strong work ethic in the members of his team and amongst the young men and women he works with. He believes that no one should be denied the opportunity to grow as a professional, and that all opportunities must be earned, allowing individuals a chance to build a firm foundation on which their future stands. He enjoys creating programs that service communities in need of positive reformation given the lack of opportunities being offered within areas of Augusta due to resource availability shortages. He displays a clear understanding that the youth of his generation are greatly affected by the lack of such opportunities and has a strong desire to play a part in the necessary changes that will lay the groundwork for a positive and productive future amongst the members of the community.
Caleb Hale is a founder and Chief Director of Visual Arts for the Open Mic Perform Pro Production and Artistic Design agency.
Caleb’s vision is to create a visual arts company designed to encourage young men and women to express themselves through art in a positive and productive manner. It is also designed to allow young men and women a safe space in which they can share their art with others.
Layered with a well-balanced background in Music, Film, and Art, Caleb has become known for his hard work and perseverance within the industry in the Augusta community. His art pieces are powerful and engaging. When he takes on any music project, he can bring life to the story he is telling through song. He also enjoys the inclusion of others when producing a new project.
Damaris Harden is the Executive Director of Film and Photography for the Open Mic Perform Pro Production and Artistic Design agency.
Understanding that a picture is worth a thousand words, Harden knows that a film is worth a million pictures, and that each frame of the film should capture a memory that is both instantaneous and uniquely profound. When producing films, he embraces the challenge to make art that speaks life into the community by tapping into the very humanity that ties us all together as people. He is a team player that is sharply aware of the importance in pursuing the goals that act for the greater good of the whole. Storyteller by nature, he sees the character hidden beneath the surface of every person that steps in front of the camera. Harden seeks create such stories through the production of works that ignite a flame of interest among the audience, inviting them to take part to the appreciation of life’s subtle gifts.
Iesha Little is an Assistant Director for the Open Mic Perform Pro Production and Artistic Design agency.
She prioritizes paying a meticulous level of attention to the details of each shot, knowing each piece to be critical to the overall result, regardless of how big or small the project may be. She strives for a standard of excellence in her work, as she believes that it is a representation not only of herself, but of the expectations of those around her. Ultimately, her goal is to encourage this same standard across the community.
Driven to teach, Little utilizes what she learns from each project to inspire people, especially those new to the field, to come out of their comfort zone and into their full potential.
Charli Fox is the Head Writer for the OpenMic Perform Pro Production and Artistic Design agency.
Words can cut like a sword and blaze like a fire. They are the primary substance we use as humans to capture the meaning of the world around us, making what is abstract become tangible. Every person is presented with a choice of what to do with these words. Many choose to speak, others choose to hear, but some of us, like Fox, dare to write. She is an innovative woman of thought whose goal is to create stories that change perspectives and deepen understanding. Whether it is a full-length feature or short comedic skit, Fox believes that, at its bones, a story should have meaningful substance that directly connects to the world in which we live. She acknowledges the existence of its reality and seeks to communicate the transcendent beauty which it possesses. Fox knows that an idea, though conceived in the abstract confines of the mind, is capable of touching a very real place in the hearts of the audience. To Fox, it is not just writing, but gatekeeping. Not just a job, but a duty. Not just an artform, but responsibility.
